Yes, you can. You need to use Latex to put in math equations. To get Latex code, you can use a graphical equation editor such as the Daum Equation Editor to edit your equation and copy the Latex code.

To put in an inline equation, you can start the equation block with backslash+( and end with backslash+). In between, you paste the Latex code.

Similarly, to display an equation using an entire line, use "SS" Latex code "SS" -- use \$ not S.
