A ladder of length 5 m is attached with the roof of a building making an angle 30 degree with horizontal line.and a man of 60 kg ascend on the roof with 20 kg load. Q1- how much work did he do against the force of gravity to ascend on the roof? Q2-if he ascends on the roof in 10 s then how much horse power he applies? Show mathematically, how much horse power would he apply if he ascends on the roof in 10 s using a vertical ladder instead of a leaning ladder?
