In this case, one need to find the person's initial jump velocity which won't change on moon. At 45 degree, both x and y component of the initial velocity is the same and define the x and y component as v.

On the earth:

x-motion: ||3=vt||

y-motion: ||0=vt-\frac 12gt^2||

Solve for v.

Then on the moon:

x-motion: ||x=vt||

y-motion: ||0=vt-\frac 12 \frac g6 t^2||

Here, x and t are unknown. v is known from previous part. Solve for x.
